Graduation Ceremony of the 2019 „EUROPA” Class - „Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy

On July 30th, „Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2019 class of Bachelor's degree studies, symbolically named "Europa".

The families joined the graduates in sharing the emotional moment, as well as academic staff, the deputy directors of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Brigadier-General Cristian Bizadea and Brigadier-General Adrian Ciocîrlan, the Minister of National Education, Professor Dr. Ecaterina Andronescu, and representatives of national security, defense and public order agencies which are the beneficiaries of the education provided by our Academy - The Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Administration and Interior.

During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Adrian-Liviu Ivan, the rector of the „Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy emphasized the fact that the "Europa" class is not only a generation capable of meeting the challenges of their profession, but they also bring added value through their drive, creativity and innovation.

The festivities continued with the awarding of prizes and distinctions to the valedictorians of the „Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy, majoring in Psychology-Intelligence and Security and Intelligence Studies.

The Minister of National Education, Professor Dr. Ecaterina Andronescu, congratulated the graduates, the parents and the professors, while also mentioning the historic importance of the spiritual patron of the Academy - Michael the Great.

At the end of the ceremony, SRI's deputy director, Mr Cristian Bizadea, addressed the graduates, congratulating them on their achievements and encouraging them for their future journey: Your parents have prepared you for life; we have prepared you for work! Be fair, be good and be persistent!
